If I had been familiar with the basic components of my blood work (such as red blood count and hemoglobin), I may have received an earlier diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma.
Have you have had a similar occurrence that could be a blessing to someone now or in the future?
It is very important for me to know how my health issues affect my well being, so I keep very close, detail check on my white blood count, red blood count, hemoglobin, blood glucose, blood platelets, hematocrit and other more complex components of my bloodwork.
Before my major medical issues, I seldom asked questions of my physician. Now I ask as well as study in detail my medical problems. Also, I tell my physician about any symptoms I have not detected in my examination .
I know that I am in God’s hand.
I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you …….
The confident expectation of good, HOPE
Until reading your blog, I don’t think I realized how important it is to have your bloodwork checked on a regular basis. It does make a difference when you know where you are and what you need to work on improving in order to live a healthier life.
Thank you for your response, daughter.
Thanks for sharing your story. It was very informative and inspiring. It’s definitely a message of hope. My oldest brother died from Multiple Myeloma so I do understand the need to monitor blood work. Research has really made some great progress since his death. You’re definitely a miracle. Blessings to you!
Thank you Pastor Hudson. It is my hope that openly discussing my health issues others can avoid unnecessary suffering. And as you have done, the readers will be open to post health issues that may be a blessing to others.
