Greetings!

My name is William Carter, and I currently reside in Paducah, Kentucky. I am a member of Gideons International and Paducah Chamber of Commerce. Previously, I served as a member of the Paducah Junior Chamber of Commerce, Jr. Chamber of Commerce, and Lourdes Hospital Regional Board for 9 year, and president of the Concord Lions Club.

I am a member of Harrison Street MBC where I serve as a deacon, and along with my wife, LaVerne, serve as facilitators of the marriage ministry. We have three children, eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. I consider myself a compassionate person and a giver, with no enemies. “If I have enemies, they will have to tell me.”

On October 30, 2013, I was diagnosed with stage 2 Multiple Myeloma, a cancer of plasma cells. I was given the medical treatment options, chemotherapy and autologous stem cell transplant. Faith in God gave me immediate hope in survival from this disease. Learn more.
